中国民族器乐协会会员，中国民族管弦乐学会会员中央音乐学院高级古筝教师资格认证。古筝社会艺术水平等级考试考官认证在中国和澳大利亚有20余年教学经验。

曾跟随中筝艺术团赴中国香港，中国台湾，新加坡，马来西亚等地交流演出多次参加中央电视台古筝节目的录制，如2012CCTV民族器乐大赛，2017中国首届古筝春晚，2024CCTV情满神州共庆华诞国庆特别节目等。其学生考级通过率为百分之百，连续多年被中国民族管弦乐学会评为考级优秀指导教师。

艺童古筝乐队是由王艺童老师于2017年创建，是一个致力于在海外推广古筝艺术与国乐文化的团体，乐队多次受邀参加达福地区文艺汇演，慈善义演等，并多次举办古筝专场演奏会，至今为止累计演出百余场，得到了大众的一致认可和好评！

Brief Introduction of Yitong

Yitong has been passionate about Guzheng since a young age when she was captivated by the music from this instrument. She started learning and performing from a young age. As her passion grew, she wanted to share her love for this beautiful traditional Chinese instrument with more people. That was one of the motivations behind her decision to embark on a teaching career.

Yitong has more than 20 years of teaching both young and old. Her years of experience allow her to tailor her lessons to each individual, so they are able to fully appreciate the beauty of this form of music. She has taught in almost every country that she has had the opportunity to live in including Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, China and now the United States. She is fluent in both Chinese and English which helps her seamlessly teach students of different background.

She is recognized as an outstanding instructor by the Chinese National Instrument and Bowed String Association. This is further validated by all her students achieving a 100% pass rate in the Guzheng certification exams.

Her qualifications include:

Member of the International Guzheng Association,
Member of the Chinese National Instrumental Music Association,
Certified senior Guzheng instructor by the Central Conservatory of Music,
Officially recognized certified examiner for Guzheng performance proficiency exams.

Her other achievements are:

She has performed on many programs for China Central Television (CCTV)

including

1. 2012 CCTV Folk Instrument Music Competition,

2. 2017 China First Guzheng Spring Gala,

3. 2024 CCTV National Day Celebration program.

In addition, she has performed extensively on cultural exchange tours in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

In 2017 Yitong moved with her husband and 2 beautiful kids to Dallas, Texas. She founded the 'Yitong Guzheng Orchestra' and the Yitong Guzheng Arts Academy to continue promoting Guzheng music. All the members are personally trained by Yitong, and they have frequently participated in more than a hundred performances and charity events throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
